Dry Ice - Inflate a Balloon

Take and empty balloon and stretch the opening of the balloon open. Drop in one or two pellets of dry ice then tie the balloon off. Drop the balloon into a pond or swimming pool. This will help supply heat to the dry ice. The balloon will sink initially but when it begins to inflate it will rise to the surface.

If you put too much dry ice into the balloon it will burst.
